I, the author of this software, make no claims for WAK other than that it is
intended for entertainment purposes. Elsewhere in the documentation it is
stated that use of WAK in concert with "Superlearning" techniques may
enhance word list learning, memorization, and recognition. This *may* indeed
be the case, but it has not been scientifically tested. I assume no legal
liability for any results or lack of results from using WAK. User feedback
will help determine the efficacy of the methods used in WAK.

WARNING
The tachistoscope word flash display in WAK uses a nifty "low-flicker"
software algorithm. Therefore, to the best of my knowledge, there is no
danger in using WAK even for persons prone to epileptic seizures.
All the same, those people known to be suffering from epilepsy should avoid
using WAK (and any other flickering or rapidly updating video source, such
as television and some types of computer animation software) to minimize the
possibility of triggering a seizure.
Users of WAK agree that the author of same will not be held legally liable
for any possible direct or indirect medical or physical consequences
resulting from the use of WAK. It is reiterated that the author knows of no
medical documentation that use of a tachistoscope display can cause adverse
physical consequences, but he has no wish to be subjected to "nuisance" law
suits.
